Arpin has been producing high quality clothing and homeware since 1817 from their small factory in Seez, near Bourg St Maurice in Savoie. The company still produces the clothes in a traditional style for the staff at the Grand Hotel Montenvers in Chamonix, so the resort was the natural choice for their very first retail outlet.
The Arpin shop is situated at the bottom of the rue des Moulins opposite the Hotel and galerie Alpina in the heart of Chamonix.
The shop windows are always very appealing, with beautifully designed and manufactured goodies such as cushions, throws, table decoration and, of course, the trademark wool clothing lines.
