Montenvers Mer de Glace Train & Lift Information

The Montenvers train is open all year round, apart fromÂ a 2-week closure in October (from 11/10 to 24/10/2009).
The ice cave and gondola are closed from 2/06 to 15/06/2009 and from 4/10 to 19/12/2009 for the preparation of the ice cave.

From 01/05 to 03/07 and from 24/08 to 11/10/2009
Departure Chamonix	1st departure: 8 am	Departure every hour and every 30 minutes from 10 am to 5 pm	Last ascent to visit the Ice Cave: 4 pm Last ascent to Montenvers: 5 pm
Return Montenvers	1st return: 8.30 am	Return every 30 minutes	Last return: 5.30 pm

From 04/07 to 23/08/2009
